Beautiful! What better way to finish a magical summer…..

I wanna ride!!

Beautiful.

Its not fair. Phoebe had two whole months to ride, I only get two weeks and I do it in the fall, which is the best time to ride.

Phoebe, try riding by moonlight. It’s a real treat, especially right after a new snowfall.

Oooh, lovely! And so now I am going to head off and have a ride on my own Marigold.

I’m totally jelious. I never got to ride a horse (or unicorn) one day before school.

Maybe Marigold can rewind time so that its the first day of summer again

I trust this is just a short ride and not an attempt to run away forever.

The week after Labor Day is a bit late to start school if you ask me, but then again, I had earlier school starts (often mid-August) than apparently most other people, and where I currently live, school starts earlier than THAT.

Savor those moments when you can truly be free. They will stick with you for the rest of your life.

Run away from time itself!

Unicorns need seat belts. Also I am looking forward to the day we see other magical creatures in the strip, it would be neat to have a day ware Phoebe was the odd life form and Marigold was the normal one.

Also I observed that Phoebe and Dakota are also names of characters in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. Also Phoebe is a name of a girl on the show Hey Arnold. In each case Phoebe is my favorite character too.

This is just awesome. And it explains why this has become one of my favorite comic strips.

Don’t forget that your mind won’t be the only thing placed in close confinement. You’ll have to start wearing shoes too…
