For some odd reason I can imagine a lot of people thinking this is a good idea and seeing them constructed around the country today. We’ve certainly got enough raw material available.

Leafy the Bagman was a leafy, baggy guy. With arms made from fallen branches and a pair of tennis ball eyes.

Could have made one this week. Our giant Eastern Pine had its semi-annual needle drop – four bags of needles!

In Austin they will not pick-up plastic leaf bags, have to use paper or your green bin.

I thought it was a giant fly at first. The look would be complete if they positioned the hands so they’re rubbing.

They could do a tribute to Calvin and Hobbes by having multiple leaf-men meet grizzly ends, like Calvin did with snowmen.

Around here, people use those orange leaf bags with the jack-o-lantern faces as Halloween lawn decorations. This bagman design is a lot creepier…maybe it will catch on…

The characters in yesterday’s strip didn’t have shadows on their faces, and I was hopeful that the style had changed back to normal, but today, Kevin has it again.
