To borrow once more from Dorothy Parker, it was at the final panel that Tonstant Weader fwowed up. What a way to conclude a nauseatingly self-indulgent week of author/avatar ego-propping. What’s more, the smug expression on Dinkleberg’s punim in that last panel makes it look as though he experienced a certain type of emission…you know, the ones that are nocturnal.

But who do we thank for that, if not “God”?

The best part of this “climax” to a stupendous arc is that it won’t continue tomorrow. Right? RIGHT?

Scenes we’d like to see: On, Monday. Instead of boarding the ark with Dinkle, the band members prefer to take their chances with the storm and an almost certain death. Dinkle sails off alone.

There. Finally. A fitting nightmare for Dinkle. Nobody wants to follow “The World’s Greatest Band Director”.

Amen to that.

Dinkle is gonna spend millennia toting the heaviest rock ever on the Terrace of Pride in Purgatory.
