Stop a minute and look at that first panel. Richard drew it so we’re looking down and over at the scene. He had such a great way of using different perspectives.

A tree is not really inanimate, but so what. The nit-picky part of me had to say that.

I’ll bet more than one person has thought of doing that to Alice. Hang a little sign there- Beware of the Tree!

Dendrophobia is not too widespread, but Alice may become a textbook case study of it!
