I find it helps to add an item to the list as one is doing the task. At the end of the day, you have solid checkmarks rather than a list of regrets. :)

For those younger readers who may not get the gag, it is an excerpt from the Beatles’ song ‘A Day on the Life’ from their album ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. That song triggered a widely believed conspiracy theory that Paul McCartney had died and been replaced by a look-alike. It was further reinforced by the cover of ‘Abbey Road’ which supposedly depicted the Fab Four as an undertaker, a preacher, a grave digger and Paul as the corpse because he was barefooted. But there was no such intent by the boys. That was simply the attire they had chosen at random for the photo and the reason why Paul was barefooted? In an interview, he said he had been wearing sandals and simply kicked them off before crossing the road because it was a “hot day”. Why would he prefer to be barefoot walking on what had to be hot asphalt? The conspiracy continues…..

okay… so now that’s playing in my head.
