I remember my driving test! It was late September in 2022, and despite a couple mistakes, I passed the test. My parents treated me out to a local bar and grill, I bought myself the LEGO Jeep Wrangler set, and we set off for home. It’s still all built together on my shelf, but it’s collecting a lot of dust.
I passed my driving test in California, in spite of losing points for stalling the car at an intersection, because I slammed on the brake without engaging the clutch. (This was years ago.) The testing officer gave me no slack for the fact that I saved his life by avoiding being hit by a car that sped through a stop sign.
