Looks like Ghost is the one quenching his thirst for vengeance against Simon…..

I am wondering if Simon may end up as being the secret ingredient in the next batch of the Ghosts chili? I think I remember an old Alfred Hitchcock TV show with a plot something like that.

I’m thinking this isn’t necessarily murder, just drugging for some nefarious purpose- otherwise, why would he counsel him to calm down? And refer to it as a ‘side effect’?

Like the subtle change in the victim’s irises in the last panel… nice touch.

Well, we now know that Ghost is a villain, though it appears that Simon was, too.

Is that Ghost’s real face or is he wearing a Muerté  festival mask ?  If he is Goth then we need some Bauhaus or Manson tunes running, .. the way Piggy had his tunes on while he was defiling the Fallars.

Seems as though Ghost was too shady for Simon. This appears to be an instance of when thieves fall out; though, far-fetched as in may seem in the context of a Dick Tracy story set-up, the proposed sale of Pepper’s could have been a legitimate business venture…

Uh-huh. Who do I think I’m kidding? And for what does Pepper’s front?

Is the Peppers restaurant the modern day equivalent of Mrs. Lovett’s pie shop?
