According to the article, ocular melanoma affects about 6 out of every million people, so it’s very rare, but it’s been identified in at least 50 people in Huntersville, North Carolina, and Auburn, Alabama, 38 of whom attended the Auburn University during an 18-year period.

Nice portrait of the Green Hornet in action (panel 2). I am almost as surprised as Topper, if GH takes down Topper this quickly. But, rather, I think he will continue his ploy of horn[et]ing in on the action in hopes of catching even bigger, Apparatus, fish. So, if I am right, Topper will not be arrested/captured here, just manipulated and intimidated by the Man in Green….

I wonder if The Hornet is gong to give Topper a hard time for running out on him.

“We had a deal, Topper: 50/50 split and I let you run your little operation. Next thing I know one of my henchmen is missing and you’re here in Tracytown.”

This way, GH would already know the operation, and would just have to stake out one of the probably targets.

Never underestimate the power of a schnook.

Dick Tracy is a serious drama strip done in a cartoony style (as opposed to realistic such as Rex Morgan, Mary Worth) because it uses cartoon caricature to portray criminals as degenerate. Even decent people in the strip have their eccentric appearances, but I see that the Green Hornet is drawn in a perfectly proportioned, non-caricature way, almost idealized.
