When the rich and powerful are inconvenienced by a law meant to punish the poor, the law gets changed instead of just ignored. It’s sort of what rich folks do. They can afford the “charities”.
You think it’s odd to hear this support from their generation, you know who was a very early advocate for legal pot? Bing Crosby. He traded plenty of reefers in his youth with his jazz-playing friends like Louis Armstrong.
Wish someone would talk to my State’s law makers. At least it is legal in AZ, my Winter State. Discounts on Tuesdays. Senior discount every day. And 5% rebate on purchases. Edibles are the best. No worries about OPCD.
AS a PO for over 30 years, there was not much good that came from using weed as a recreational drug. I know some close friends that were f**ed up for years and most graduated to hard drugs. They led a hard life, and it started with the use of a little weed. So don’t believe what the pro weed crowd says, its a dangerous first step always.

Talk to Dan’s dad — Nixon’s personal physician — instead. Maybe, he can explain the medicinal benefits of cannabis to junior.

I don’t know about there, but where I am street prices always beat store prices. Legalization hasn’t changed much.

Lungren was a Republican, obviously.

Even back then, as it still is now; ‘street price’ was/is always lower than dispensary prices… and who the heck buys herb by the gram anyway?

I know I would not have survived chemo/radiation/surgery without being able to keep food down, which smoking pot let me do.

The high street prices are no doubt requiring her to economize when summering in the Hamptons. Can only have lobster and champagne 6 days a week.

To some people, pain for others is just overdue punishment.

Some people hope that punishing others will keep themselves from being punished. That type has almost always done things they should be punished for.

Kalifornia is awash in Bud right now. When I get calls to get back in the game, I know growers are in deep kimchee.

Lungren was probably best known for doing a ride along on a marijuana eradication helicopter. Self-serving bundle of ambition in a suit.

Oh for the good old days when you could get a “lid” for $20 or a “key” for $100.

A hit of heroin here is cheaper than a 6 pack of beer.
