I’ve often wondered how the Wally party was admitted into Eden. I’d thought there’d be some kind of de-briefing at least, but Eden seems ignorant of Wally’s dittos, and Chic’s background seems unknown to Edenites, too. Perhaps there was no debriefing. If Eden was set up by Apex as a community of test subjects, just before The End, then population would have shrunk due to…experimentation (“exiles”?). Anyone new coming in would be seen as just more lab subjects. Who cares about their history when they’re going to be used?

And, of course, Panel 3 is a joke about a hunch.
