Oh, how I cannot wait for that when I get married (no, not to more than one woman, you “experts” of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).

For a truly peaceful marriage, separate housing is the only way to go :p

I haven’t been married long but on the rare occasion my husband and I have to get ready at the same time, we don’t have a problem both being in the bathroom together! I mean, unless one of us is using the toilet but otherwise, why can’t your husband be in there when you’re doing your makeup? Silly.

Slightly staggered wake up times helps… one can get up & shower…. then the other can… and she can do her makeup while he showers… they seem so immature lately. I know it’s just a comic… but… immature.

My parents had a bathroom where 2 adults could not fit (unless one was on the toilet or in the shower), yet they still managed to get ready for their respective jobs without a fit (John). Elly could get a mirror and do her makeup somewhere else, as a suggestion.

We’ve always had separate bathrooms. Wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t care how big the bathroom is, it’s never large enough for two when getting ready. And I don’t want to be there when someone else is, uh, using it.

Let him in to get his stuff, Ellie. It’s not like you’re in the bathtub, and even then you could let him in. Besides, putting on makeup doesn’t require a sink.

Funny how they couldn’t foresee this coming. Yes John get your stuff and put it in the other bathroom and stop bellyaching.

Elly needs a vanity in the bedroom solve the problem. We have a master bathroom and family one. When I or my husband have personal needs I do not want to be there. I am keeping this comment clean.

Elly cannot so much as allow John to come in and grab what he needs to take it to the downstairs bathroom? Definately not sharing on Elly’s part.

Why should I? It was uncalled for and ignorant. I think when something like that is said on a public forum, they poster should be called out on it. How do you know others ignored it, and didn’t agree? I could have ignored your comment too, but chose not to. As you could have ignored mine, rather than choosing to correct me.

Okay, now that I’ve read this, I’m going to become a hermit, avoiding human contact. (Beauty part is, hermits don’t own mascara.)

Growing up with five siblings and two bathrooms, you learn to do what’s gotta be done in the bathroom, bath or shower, toilet, wash hands or face, brush teeth, and then get out. You can fuss with makeup and hairstyling someplace else.

If they sleep together, why can’t they both be in the bathroom together?
