Halloween skeletons aren’t being fed enough. There’s no meat on those bones.

Teeth are not bones, though many people make that mistake

I was a skinny kid. I saw my skeleton every time I looked in the mirror.

Yeah, that little thing is sitting in your chest just waiting to jump out and grab your candy on Halloween.

At least twice I have actually seen some of my own bones. Once I woke up during a surgery and saw the whole insides of my wrist (redheads and anesthesia – crapshoot there) and once I had a gum transplant. Not for the weak of heart. I ended up with exposed bone in my mouth. When I went back to the oral surgeon he asked me how I knew I had exposed bone. I told him I knew how to use mirrors, too. Want to lose weight? Get a gum transplant. I couldn’t even put on lipstick for days. I am glad I never had a fracture that broke through the skin, but I bet someone here has a story about that or knows someone who did. The bone in my mouth was exposed for 5 months. I developed migraines after that, but I was told it wasn’t related.

That reminds me of the saying: Opinions are like skeletons. Everybody else is an a**hole.

Yeah, April. You’re seeing your teeth which are part of the skeleton system. And that is all you can see.

Just go visit Dr. Munigant, April, and you’ll never have to worry about that skeleton again.

A couple of commenters above seem to be having a contest to see who can make the most inappropriate, totally unnecessary and tasteless comment. I flagged them both. The comments are possibly not in violation of the Terms of Use, but this is a comic strip that includes children, which might be read by children. Keep the adult" comments on the adult comic strips. Better yet, leave them off this site completely.

That last frame makes absolute sense to me, for a three-year-old.
