As an adult, um….somewhat, I do remember using the terms, tenner shoes. Kinney garten. Teefbrush. Toofpick. I could go on but I will always wish you a Happy Birfday!

I recently wished a friend a happy birfday by text, he had a new phone and lost some of his contact information so he responded, thanks, whoever you are. So I texted back with, ax ur wyf hoo mispells birthday. He texted back, thanks yoey. Tru story!

Don’t mind her Mike. She’s psyching herself up for the big event. ;D

My kids liked their mook in their cereal and their toys needed new addaberrys to work again.

I share the same birthday as April. (April 1st). In case you like trivia, “Jeannie” from “I Dream of Jeannie”‘s birthday is ALSO April 1st. I remember when the show was on, there was a contest to guess Jeannie’s birthday. I entered, but stupidly, didn’t pick my own birthday. Imagine how mad I was when they announced her birth date!

I remember my younger daughter’s 4th birthday. The second she woke up, she literally jumped out of bed, raised her arms victoriously, and shouted, “I’M FOUR!!!” all in one swift motion. (She’s now 18 + 1 month, exactly.)

She is sooo cute!!!

Maybe they’ll get lucky and have another massive snowstorm on April 1…

Michael is sure a mean rotten brother. One of his sisters he insults by calling her ‘Lizard Breath.’ His other sister he insults by calling her ‘Hey short one.’ I can’t figure out though which of his sisters is hurt more by his insults?

At some point, the celebration becomes pretty much continuous.

In our family we celebrate all MONTH! Michael, don’t rain on her parade!

Yes, back when very young, a birthday was cause for celebration, cake, ice cream, presents and a party. Once you reach adulthood, not so much. They come so quickly and every year. Better than the alternative though. Hahaha!

I pronounced onion as inyun with a lone i. And Hawaiian Punch as “wine punch.” And who didn’t say “I’m firsty” when we wanted a drink? Even today I say “liberry” just for fun.

Happy almost Birfday, April!

Technically, I believe April was “born” on March 31, 1991, because it was a Sunday and Lynn needed the extra room a Sunday strip provides. But nevertheless her birthday is still April 1.

April is so cute here!

On my sixth birthday I fell over backwards on the laundry hamper and cracked my wrist. Six weeks later I broke the arm.

May April obsess less over her 40th birthday than her mother did

How about a birthday present of a new hairstyle? April’s current appearance looks shocking profane, like a certain piece of anatomy.

When our oldest was a baby, he called his favorite meal “basketti and meeballs”. My bride and I still call it that 49 years later.

April is an April fool!

I’ve just been scrolling back to this time in 2020 to reread April’s birth story. You guys should, too…it’s quite the adventure!
