Again we have Connie as a brunette. I wouldn’t have recognized her just from the artwork.

Yeah, Elly, losing your job stinks. At least you don’t have to worry about paying the rent or putting food on the table.

It’s a good idea to run until the pain goes away!

No pain, no gain, Ellie.

Elly’s not getting any younger. Maybe she needs something like a treadmill rather than going jogging to save her knees.

That is so true. I wonder if people who are mentally struggling could be helped by more physical therapy and less sitting, or lying, around. I don’t know, but it helps me.

Has Lynn ever seen a person run before?

Or has she ever actually run herself? If she runs the way she draws people running, I would be willing to pay to see that.

Imagine if Elly was going to college with Michael. Then she can get the credits to earn a diploma. Instead of her resume saying “two years of university” it could say “Bachelors degree from University of Ontario”!

Whether we like it or not, a lot of employers want a full and complete four year college education.

It’s true, jogging really does work wonders for your mental health. I’ve even read that there are evolutionary reasons for this.

Plus it keeps the blood pressure down

Elly, you’re going to hurt later on!

She can start working for herself. She can lease a place with a sign that rotates for motorists to notice:

And the next comic will once again be about unsupervised April getting into trouble while Mom is off having a identity crisis.

Elly has not lived as comfortably as her parents. The way things are going in Crapada, when Michael, Elizabeth and April are grown they will not be as well off as Elly has.

She’s going to jog to the store and buy a punching bag.
