I am not much into turkey drumsticks myself, but rather breast.

If we’re having turkey I prefer the dark meat and that means the leg.

Yeesh, do what I do ..buy extra drumsticks!

The local store has smoked turkey drumsticks. I get a few for gumbo.

I thought they were more into tofurkey?!

OK, two five pound turkeys.

Don’t she have to buy one for Peter and one for the rest of ’em anyway?

Did you hear about the framer who crossed a turkey with an octopus … so the whole boat crew could each have a leg ?

It looks like Dad is running a con job.

I wonder if anybody has tried to use genetic engeneering to combine chickens or turkeys with centepedes and get a bird with dozens of drumsticks.

Considering how Peter eats, I would’ve thought they’d already been in the habit of getting extra of everything for Thanksgiving.

I got a 22 pound turkey for $11. Plus I get a free one for spending so much at the grocery store. Comic characters act like turkey is as rare as the dodo!

Dark meat is the best. Also turkey parts are easier to roast well than the whole bird. So buy a family pack of drumsticks, and roast them arrayed around a tofurkey breast. Everybody’s happy!

Jason would love it if they had a GMO turkey with extra drum sticks. One day you may never know…

You guys can have the drumsticks — I prefer the thighs. Much more meat to bone ratio, and no tendons to bother you.

Leftovers is what I give thanks for!!! I LOVE Thanksgiving dinner leftovers. We make sure we cook enough that everyone gets leftovers. Of course after 60 or years, with family growing up and making more family, they don’t go as far as they used to. LOL Right now our close family is 16, not counting boyfriends, in-laws, or close friends. We could have 40+ for Thanksgiving dinner if we wanted to. So we split up holidays instead. My mother and her descendants get to have Thanksgiving dinner, then the descendants get to go to their spouses/boyfriends family for Christmas. At least it has worked for decades for us.

Just to kill the joke, they sell turkey drumsticks separately.

I’ve never understood the fascination with turkey legs. Fighting my way through all those tendons just doesn’t seem worth it.

You know what is funny about this to me? The fact that Roger thinks there will even BE leftovers with Peter at the table.

Wouldn’t one be for Peter cause he’s such a wacky glutton?

My family is getting two, but we have family coming, so I’ll sadly still only get one drumstick.
