Nothing, the wife is always on a diet, anti cards, oh I worked in a flower shop don’t waste your money, she doesn’t wear jewellery, always doing a Marie Kondo. So it is a broom every year.

Is there a guide to the state of Mr. Fox’s tie, like Dilbert’s as a sign of romantic status?

Eh, the costumes don’t make it a stupider idea than it already was. If anything, they distance the kids from the stupidity.

…and what did she get him? I have always got my guy something. Have always thought it folly to expect to receive and not give as well.

My favorite Christmas present of all times was the year my husband surprized me with a battery charger- jump starter. To heck with girly things. I needed it to get stuck cars out of the parking lot. Wonderful husband! My second favorite was a 20 foot shipping container. The man knew his woman.

My wife never liked any of my gifts. Like the new fly-rod, a dozen goose decoys, space heater, and even the cordless drill. go figure.
