I was actually prohibited from making the coffee when I was teaching, even though I was the first one to arrive. None of the other teachers could take the strength. The other teachers would make to their liking and I brought in my own pot. All was happy, and I did find kindred spirits in the student teachers who loved my coffee (reminded them of their college cafeteria coffee. All was good in the Coffeeverse.

I’ve never liked soggy doughnuts, or crumbs in my coffee.

If it ’doesn’t do anything to the coffee’, she’s blind and her taste buds don’t exist. Dunking donuts ruins a perfectly good cup of coffee. Nevermind that donuts are nasty to begin with. Add enough sugar, salt, and fat, and anything will taste good.

I made coffee ONCE in the shop coffeepot. I rarely drank any, and there was usually some when I wanted it. One day there wasn’t , so I made a pot the way I do at home. Everybody was saying, " Who made this stuff? It’s way too strong and bitter. " Then the plant manager, a guy from Columbia, tried a cup and said, " Hey, who made this REALLY GOOD coffee?"

I suspect that she probably SAW the paperwad land in the cup…. but not who sent it, but suggested to Frazz who she thought did it. Then she probably dumped out the coffee, and got a new mug-full… Caufield probably didn’t see that. And, then when Caulfield asked his questions, she put two-and-two together as suggestive evidence….. HE did it…. and Frazz saying “Was I wondering?” as his indication that he thought she was right all along, even without the added evidence.

I was thinking she put her dunked doughnut on a piece of paper, and so every day there’s a coffee-soaked wad in the trash.

Is distilled drinking water different from regular distilled water like I use for my steam iron? I read somewhere, on a coffee web site I think, that you should not drink distilled water. I buy mineral free water for my coffee pot.
