The old myth goes, when teachers smile, students shiver. But, thatâs only in the classroom. After school, weekends, and holidays itâs spontaneous. I speak from experience.
Michigan has a Dream Cruise this weekend where old cars are driven from all over to slow down traffic, snarl rush hour, and show off to each other. That might be why the Chevelle was mentioned today.
Would a kid these days even know what a Chevelle is, let alone the year? (I did a context lookup to find the years it was made but all i got was info about the band of the same name.
Kids and some adults seem to have a really hard time with âmore than one reasonâ. I vote both â and likely two or three that arenât mentioned here, such as not wearing the uncomfortable shoes (or other clothing), anticipation of what will happen when they get to destinationâŠ

Wonder if weâll ever meet Mr. Olsen? Or would that spoil things?

Our state requires an emissions inspection for cars to get an annual sticker. Doubt that a 1971 anything could pass it.

How did that kid know it was a â71? Pretty impressive!
I had a â66 Chevelle, but a big difference between that and a â71âŠ

My first car could have been a Chevelle. Slightly later year, â76 maybe if I remember, very used. My dad said no. Sigh.
