As usual, I’m not sure what Caulfield is on about. A holiday a month is about normal. There are lots of weeks that are holiday free, most of them in fact. August is unusual.
I love the way the gloves are drawn. It adds so much movement to the dialogue.. To be honest I am spending more time admiring the illustrations over the point trying to be made
Air pressure is greater in the winter. Raising pressure heats up a gas, but if you cool a gas, it naturally compresses on its own. This is why airliners can actually burn more fuel in the summer — the jet’s wings aren’t producing as much lift in hot summer air, so they have to go faster before they can lift off.

Actually it’s a relationship among THREE things: temperature, pressure and volume.

Fight the mid-winter blues with small things. Put frozen raspberries on your breakfast cereal.

For many of us it extends well past mid January. Our next work holiday is Memorial Day.
