The obnoxious kids have potential. It’s usually the dull adults who perceive creativity and inquisitiveness as backtalk (and therefore, obnoxious).
Sometimes, yes. But not often enough these days. So it seems, anyway.
It depends on a certain level of obnoxiousness.
