Now the work of cleaning that up is going to fill up somebody’s time. But will it be Caulfield or Frazz?

Nothing like overdoing a science project to get a long class break.

Be thankful he didn’t make hydrogen sulfide, a.k.a. rotten egg gas.

A big variable is time for rest, rising and baking, which takes maturity to appreciate. After that, no matter how it turns out, more butter will can it more palatable. I’m sure there is a life lesson in there some where. Worse case, croutons and/or bread pudding.

Without STEM we see a random fact (vinegar + baking soda = a mess) mistaken for science. Thankfully his teacher knows the difference.

Is that one of the original designs he’s using, or a re-issue replica?

When I see the boy handling equipment in such a cavalier fashion, I’m tempted to call out, “Hold ’em, Caulfield!” (Reference available upon request) (If he were using the vinegar on a salad, I’d be temped further to say something about “Salad-ger,” but the “g” sound would be wrong then, I suppose, so that would be too big a stretch).

If anyone has mixed baking soda and vinegar together, they’d know the tupperware is melted and useless now.

The toilet bowl is bigger, and could undoubtably use a little of that “fizz” action.

The question is: which did Caulfield intend to represent “the time allotted”: the capacity of the Tupperware bowl, or the capacity of the classroom?

Expands to fill the time allotted and then some…. yeah, that’s my life.

Baking soda and vinegar – ok. But what is that stuff in the end? To my knowledge it just produces lots of CO2?
