I dunno… I would have said the same about trampoline.

Frazz could have taken Miss Plainwell to the lake for a boat race and run during the second week of the Olympics(it got a little slower).

Unicycle basketball- now there’s a challenging sport!

I note the inclusion of Break Dancing in this year’s line-up, so anything is possible.

When you win in the Olympics, you at least get a disc that you can pretend you’re biting.

Like, who wold ever have predicted that break dancing would be an Olympic sport?

Is it just me or does anyone else find those who boast of turning their nose up at the Olympics more annoying than those who go full-on ’MURICA for the duration?

Money ruined the Olympics and the Olympics ruins sports.

Better than that trash break dancing that will never ever be invited back to the Olympics, I hope.

This is such a weird flex for Jef. Seems to be really out of character. My remarks from yesterday stand.

Personally, if at the end of my attempt to ride a unicycle, I walked away unscathed with nary a bruise nor a broken bone, I would consider that a win!

I watched a couple of the skateboarding events, quite dull. I feel I’ve seen better boarders at our local park.

Rhythmic Gymnastics is still an Olympic ‘sport’.

I learned to ride a unicycle around 1967, at 10 years old. When I was 17, I found a guy who imported and sold a 6’ chain drive, called a giraffe, from Japan. I bought that, learned to ride, and rode it all around our town. I still have it, and rode it last year for the grandkids. I’m skittish about it though- I’d hate to hurt myself and have to explain to the ER staff how it happened to this old guy.
