Once I bend over to see the back of the fridge, I have to look through the top part of my trifocals, and everything is blurry. Or, I can take off my glasses so that I can’t see anything.
“Y’ever been looking through the refrigerator and you come across an empty plate? Boy, that starts me to wondering. Did something eat something else? Maybe the olives ate the tuna! Maybe that chicken isn’t really dead yet. Actually, I picture a little mouse with gloves and a parka on, y’know. Just waiting for the lights to go out.” -George Carlin
GASP! You don’t mean the dreaded creature that lived in the refrigerator, behind the mayonnaise, next to the ketchup and to the left of the cole slaw!?
He’d only find food fit to eat here. I clean it out every 2 weeks. I got almost deadly food poisoning at a restaurant in 2019. Since then I take no chances.
What if the leftovers in the back of the fridge have been booby trapped in case Garfield tries to get at them? If that’s the case, then there’s a good chance that Liz probably put Jon up to it.
I’ve got about six jars of Jif PB from the recalled batch that were donated to our local food bank (and they rejected them). Hopefully the odds of getting salmonella are low (it may be 5-10 years before I get to them with all the other jars I have to go through – at one PB&J sandwich a week, it lasts a while…)

Why would there be leftovers at Garfield’s house?
Macushlalondra about 2 years ago
He’ll be alright. With Garfield in the house it’s surprising there are any leftovers at all.

Remember, there is a point when they stop being leftovers, and turn into science projects.

With Garfield in the house if there are leftovers, a scenario I doubt, they can’t possibly be old enough to be dangerous. ;-)

Just like we scream at a horror movie “DON’T GO ON THERE!!!”

If it’s been in the back of the fridge so long that it turned green and started moving, leave alone it’s evolving into something new.
