The first 5 days after the weekend are the hardest!

Just be glad every day is not a Monday, although lately it does seem like it.

Ah, just sleep through it.

Well rain is predicted, so I plan to stay up late Sunday and sleep in late Monday.

And we are getting November Rain as well too.

Being a little not so young, I love everyday! Come on Monday!

…and it occurs once a week

If you say you love Monday, you are actually going to get murdered by Lord Garfield. I’m already dead anyway.

All is not bad, Garfield, at least you have your coffee!

I wonder what Jon does for a living on Mondays.

And they come once every seven days Garfield.

Especially when it Monday the 13th!

I think that once or twice a year you should just be able to call in sick and the cause be Monday and everyone just be okay with that.

More like a never ending nightmare.

The Count could not agree more this morning. >:( Monday on steroids, boy howdy. However… The Cound did wake up. Always a good sign and way to start the day.

Since one of my busiest days is Sunday, Monday is a reprieve that I look forward to. And, I’ve got the bacon/cheese quiche waiting for me to do. Yum.

My son makes me feel like Garfield’s Mondays.

My recurring nightmare is cold weather. Yuck.

Like the weather, people talk complain about it but no one does anything about it.

Garfield doesn’t have a job, so I don’t understand his aversion to Mondays. It’s just another day to him, right?

Look on the bright side Garfield; 2nd February 2026 is a Monday but also Groundhog day, so you get the joy of potentially repeating Monday over and over and over again… like Phil Connors spent 12,395 days repeating it. Isn’t that something to give you pleasant dreams eh Garfield?

I have never understood why Garfield hates Mondays. I’m retired, and the sleeping on Monday doesn’t seem any different than sleeping on any other day. For that matter, Jon doesn’t seem to have any kind of job either (not sure where he gets his money), so it isn’t like Mondays should be any different than any other day of the week for them.

While it is true that Garfield goes back to the Monday riff from time to time, it is way ironic to post this on the first Monday after the big fire in LA shuts down one of the busiest sections of freeway that carries an estimated 300,000 vehicles each day.

I’m having another Garfield Mondy, but this one is worse than last Monday. Those that have been following my comments for th elast week and half know what is going on with my sisster. Well,it has been since Friday when they stopped the sedative but she still hasn’t waken up yet. They have done 3 CT Scans and there is brain activity and the bleeding of brain is stable but she just doesn’t wake up. They still have her on the ventilator and everytime they try to stop it she is ok for a couple of minutes then they have to put her back on it. Dad drove the 2 1/2 hours to see her Monday and he was there for 3 hours and there was no change, he was talking to her hoping hearing a famililar voice might help but nothing, he rubbed her arm and nothing. I just can’t deal with this much longer but as long as there is brain activity we are not going to do anything. We are besides ourselves not knowing what is causing this, her doctor told Dad he has only ever seen this when someone comes out of surgery and has a hard time coming out of it but he doesn’t even know what is causing her not to wake up. Me, Mom, and Dad are just having such a hard time and all I do is cry and cry, I get about 4 hours a sleep a day but broke up and I am hardly eating anything and then when I eat a full meal like I did this evening then I get sick and have to run to bathroom and then stomach hurts for hours. As I have been asking for those who are praying people please continueto pray for our family. We are praying so much and our whole congregation is praying for her but we can never get to many prayers.
