I don’t buy Jon as a pathetic dork any more – not since Liz became his girlfriend. His character was entirely annihilated by that one decision. Strips like today’s one would work better with Doc Boy or Lyman nowadays, who are every bit as dorky as Jon was in the days when he was hopelessly (and hilariously) single.

You have to know your limitations. Usually, the door is it.

Bring back the days of when Jon used to be the straight man to Garfield’s antics.
