And if it’s not the looks, he’s an extremely successful businessman, a great provider and thoughtful companion.

Ok, she’s sick, she’s tired and she’s married to Slim. I’m sure she’s earned a bit of nastiness.

Last week we were treated to the well-worn trope of the inept husband who doesn’t know how to do even the easiest household chore. This week we get the equally overused trope of the irate wife finding a love note to her husband which will, of course, turn out to be completely innocent. It looks like JIm spends a fair amount of his day watching MeTV.

Well,it’s a plot—-but after 40 odd years she should give Chubby the benefit of the doubt. For now Slim will drown his sorrows at Corky’s diner.

This is what’s known as the “Conflict Ball.” Clovia’s been married to this guy for decades, yet all it takes is one vague mystery note and suddenly she’s acting like the whole relationship is over.

What’s she expect, marrying a studmuffin like Slim.
