“Yeah, Troy Costellos party…..good times!” Wasn’t that you doing the shamrock shake in the corner, holding your pet peacock? My thorpesense is tingling about this summer story arc!Tod Andrews
Boo looked so attractive yesterday with her hair combed. Now she has that rebellious bed head. My vision is True, Pasco, Angie and Boo driving a convertible, playing Lobo’s Greatest Hits on the 8-track. “Me and you and a dog named Boo, Travlin’ and uh livin’ on the land.”
Boo was sitting at a long lunch table with False, Multiple Choice and others in yesterday’s strip. In P2, they’re sitting alone at a short table. What happened to everyone else?
In all reality , gotta love this blossiming romance . I’ m sure it will be a stormy one . I foresee someone getting a tat “True/Boo” at Shakey Jakes Tatoo Emporium next to the Milford bus depot.
… the hormones at work … now I/we know what she’s after … sorry folks I couldn’t resist.
. I ware a watch but I am closer to a 100 than to 50 …. Ravenswing the point is well taken & thanks.
I do read Gil Thorp & the comments everyday but you guys are too tough for me to join here, never the less, you all do have some truly great comments. … keep up the good work because I’m sure that keeps Neil & Rod honest!
Does Boo have that weird condition where she goes from hot to not depending on the lighting? Like that girl that Jerry Seinfeld dated on the Festivus episode? It does seem a little like Festivus around here, what with all the airing of grievances. And speaking of airing, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is on the air.
OK, this is a bit nerdish (not sure any of you guys code), but it just occurred to me that the values for variables with a BOOlean data type are TRUE and false. Work just got so much better!
OK, in a rejiggering of a forced joke I attempted to make last summer, when True introduced himself to Boo, he should have crooned “Aaaaaddison….my name is Truuuuuuu(e)”.

Okay, I just have to say it: P2. Who under the age of 50 wears a wrist watch any more?

Ah, young love, and the Legend of TruBoo begins. Soon they’ll be on the road to Hawaii.
Correct you are Ravenswing. If this strip was set in this century I’d say it might be an Apple watch, but this Milford after all.

Boo and Tru(e) are so smitten in P1 that they don’t notice Dr. Frogcrotch and his henchman Igor right behind them.
Starfish nails it again – except “Road to Hawaii” doesn’t really have that Bob & Bing feel to it.

“I wouldn’t presume to assume.” Pretty sure those words have never been spoken by a teenager outside the magical realm of Milford.

In all reality , old song by Mike Douglas " The Men in My Little Girl’s Life " is on You Tube . Play it and supply lyrics to fit True and Boo.
