Eight years? But baseball season will be over by then! (Maybe.)

That bailiff chick glancing at the camera looks familiar. I think the same “actress” plays a lot of these minor Gil Thorp roles, like that guy in the Flintstones who said “Yeeeessssss?” who seemed to work everywhere Fred went.

Word may be spreading at Milford High, but it also appears to be a topic of conversation in the Central City jail.

Wow, look at the size of Young Master Bader’s right arm in P1. All of that " exercise" has it’s benefits.

It didn’t take Mrs. Bader long to move on. That dude she’s draped all over in P2 looks nothing like Del.

So, is that Milford or the prison dining hall in P3. Either way, that’s one fine shine on that floor Mop Man.

The early morning line is Delbert’s cellmate shall be a lanky white fellow, inclined to play the harmonica wearing dark sunglasses and a penchant for eating toast.

Not sure in P3 if they are talking about Del or the missing Thorp children.

Was twelve years or probably eight the sentence or the expected time this storyline will wrap up?

Not sure where the bar has been regarding future GT storylines but I am confident that the tableload of stooges in p.3 have to be royally pissed off as to the lack of any sort of summer vacation. Perhaps ratting out the MILFord athletic department to the media (????) that with the first football game in 2 weeks and they’re still mired in some non- descript baseball season which has lasted 4 months and only competed in 3 games. The only game they should be prepping for is the end game!

And as the curtain falls on the Milford High’s production of “Bye Bye Bader”…!

In the Tampa Bay area all schools are now in session and the high school teams have already played their first football games and yet summer still hasn’t arrived in Milford? Hasn’t this comic strip always been topical in the past? What happened to Gil Thorp (besides the kids that disappeared years ago)?

Eight to 12 years? Tragic. That’s a long time for Del’s customers to go without industrial solvents.

The Simpsons features other characters in similar roles: e.g., the squeaky-voiced youth and the bald guy with the mustache who talks like Charles Bronson.

Yeah, everyone already commented on the things that hit me right away. The bailiff looking at the camera like, “can you believe this @#$%?” P3 that at first glance I thought was a prison mess hall. And I agree that seismic-2 wins the internet today. And speaking of winning, today’s Mopped Up Thorp isn’t winning any awards, but it’s not bad.

Yes Guy was in a lot of shows over the years. As far as those Simpsons clips, those sound like imitations? Not the original guy?But nobody posted a clip of him actually saying “yessss”? So the silver lining of Boo’s untimely death is that it caused the baseball team to empathize with their obnoxious teammate in his time of need, despite the fact that his loathsome personality predated his misfortune and never improved.

Breaking News: The Judge has decided to credit Del with time served. A quick calculation of this on going agony reveals Mr. Bader will be home Saturday.

All time favorite Frank Nelson for me was the classic “Did you just stop this train?” on the “I LOVE LUCY” show. He was the conductor on the passenger train they were on heading to Hollywood for the movie Ricky was going to make.
