In hell do they run the same strip every day?

Sunday was a cruel tease, leading us to think we were getting Gil, or at least the strip named after him, seven days a week. Did anyone take a screen shot with the Sept. 24 date on it? Could be a collector’s item.

In all reality , Okay I’ll bite , Where is Dad ? Inquiring minds want to know .

Cutting edge technology. Gil Thorp strip on Sunday and mulligan Monday. P3- That heaping bowl of porridge will slow Oliver, err, Rickey down. Please Mum, may I have another? P4- Marty steps into the scene remarking, kid, if you want to get ahead in life, you’ve got to pick a pocket or two.

Figured yesterday had to be a mistake. Would have been cool though if they went to a standard Sunday style strip every week with 8 panels in color.

Then again, it’s hard enough to move this strip along when only doing 3 panels 6 days a week.

Even the colorized version from Seattle appeared on Sunday. Double dupe.

P1, Scrappy Doo/Howdy Doody should wear the helmet all the time. Gil practicing his cigar store Indian impersonation for the next big talent show.

P2, Uncle Tonoose, trying to get nephew Rick(ey) an audition so he can continue to live off the boy’s talent.

P3, Rick(ey)(?) and his mom, sister, sister wife, who knows and who cares? She won’t be seen again anyway.

So, the first game is days away. What is that in Milford time anyway? ETA Halloween for the opener.

First game in October? In Michigan there are usually two games in August, before the first day of school.
