Although I suppose we shall wait in vain for GilPa to apologize for that truly asinine and out of left field “liability” remark. High schools play out-of-conference matches against other high schools all the damn time.
I see a rumble in the works….Valley Modified pitcher hits a Milford batter, a few disputed calls, trash talking to escalate things and we are off the the races!!!
P3: “More baseball is better than less baseball” — Really? What say you Rob Manfred? P4: “Let’s-Go-Val-ley”. P5: Modified Alumni team — aka Trujillo’s Pagoda — got next and are ready to “pummel”.
P1- 5’8" Hiawatha James towers over Chris Schuring, who played forward on the basketball team. Both look to have suffered a back stabbing. Shanks a lot!
P 1: What the heck is he talking about? “….it’s for softball and baseball so there’s no grass in the infield…”…uh, what would it be used for if there was grass in the infield, Einstein?
Because Milford is going to be embarrassed by modified and they will refuse to play another game this summer. That’s what could happen by giving up a Sunday to play baseball.
Mudlarks, Spring 2020. Battery: Godlewski and James; left to right: Mayor, Blowtop, and Tiki; third to first: Muench, Roh, Maloof, and Boston. When Mayor gets booted, his replacement is Jimmy Alfano. Why is Schuring in the locker room? Forgot to leave when basketball ended? Helping out Kaz?
“More baseball is better than less baseball.” The reply should have been, “What the hell are you talking about?” They either play this scrimmage and it’s more baseball, or they don’t play it and it’s the same amount of baseball that they were playing.
So they needed Gil and Kaz to alert them to the existence of baseball fields besides those at Milford? They must not get out much. And speaking of getting out, I was just now able to get out today’s installment of Mopped Up Thorp.
P 2: As someone who used to spend most Sundays playing organized baseball and then softball when I got older, if I could talk to that kid, I would tell him that 30 years from now, you would give your left n*t to find enough guys to put together a game, so quit whinin’ and go play the game, even if it is an easy opponent

P1, Why should you have players? Gil never does.
P2, Beer game, stupid!
P3, We’ve been saying that for weeks and still R&W show no baseball. Base-a-ball hasn’t been berry berry good to us.

Be a jerk, I like your honesty. Tell them you were going to take Phoebe to the beach and search for any butter knife scars that need attention.

P 2.5: “…because we could use an ego-boosting, easy, lop-sided win, plus pounding on juvenile delinquents is always fun, so it’s a win-win situation…”
