P3- The baby blue unis are back in the latest quest to upset The Mighty Magpies, err Mudlarks as Chance Macy absorbs the shocker.

P1: We see why Gil was a bad choice for someone to chop up the meat for the post-game sloppy Joes.

In all reality , What hells a matter with you Serrano ? My Dad owes Vito a lot of money and if we lose Vito will wipe out his gambling loses, and if we win Vito is going to break his legs. Oh that’s no problem after the game I’ll hypnotize Vito and make forget all about all the $$$ your Dad owes him. Thanks Boyd you’re a pal , I don’t care what Thorp and the others think about you .

The colorist is finally adding variety to the uniform colors with the light yellow vertical striping, very creative

Then again all of his teammates believed him which means the guys in the baby blue unis are going to shut out Gilpas team, not second in the valley, maybe 3rd

Yikes, what happened to Boyd’s jersey? I may have accidentally spilled bleach on it. I don’t think the refs are going to allow him to play with part of his number ruined.

And geez, Rubin, what’s with calling out Serrano for not being perfect? Already pinning the blame on individual players for choking away this game? It’s a team effort!

I can’t decide which way this game will go. If the Mudlarks just suck this whole game and get blown out, it makes it look like Tevin and Gil are asses for ruining the illusion and their chances. More likely Tevin does his Knute Rockney imitation at halftime and rallies the team to victory, leading to Boyd apologizing for busting his balls the last two years. Hugs and tears and loofahs all around.

Then what, a one strip game showing the team losing to their next opponent and getting knocked out of playoff contention? Or will we actually see the first playoff action since True left the school?
