Very unusual offence Milford is running if a Wide Receiver is racking up passing yards.

Woo-Hoo! All Milford opponents are wearing the powder blue, black and now yellow trimmed uniforms this season! Henry adds another twist to the long list of new happening at GT.

Has coach Kaz deposed Gil as coach? Did Gil fail to show up for a game once again, forcing Kaz to call the shots for that particular game?

No assistant coach speaks to the media around here. In articles and interviews it is typically the head coach. The only players made a available to the media are those who have consented to be featured, or wins a post-season award.

@henryjbarajas seriously dude. Consider Taking your sports panels to a sports bar and have them proofread by someone watching a contact sport.

I really love Whigham’s artwork. It’s simple, you know? Everything we need is there. And his lettering (I suppose he’s the letterer also) is really good also. The usage of Blambot’s Anime Ace as the font is great and fits the strip’s style. I think I’ll start adding that font to my letterings as well.

By the way, not trying to but already doing a promotion — is that allowed here if I’m talking about comics? —, if you guys remember The Spectacular Spider-Man’s animated series, you will definitely love to see the continuation in comic book format. I am part of an amateur team doing these comics as the project’s designer and letterer and you may find the comics by googling “Spec Returns Group”!

Also check out my own strip, called “Nick Felix”, a detective guy and his adventures! You may find that by googling “Nick Felix Lucas Cristovam”.

Last but not least, I heard there’s a Discord for the fans of Gil Thorp. Does anyone have a invitation left for a fellow new reader who wants to know more about the strip?

What? No pre conference roadie to Lexington Tates Creek or Louisville Ballard? If this season is special, what about a St. Pius X game instead of a doubleheader vs. Madison? In this new Milford universe, is Marty married to Peaches McClure with a couple of kids and a mortgage? Sorry. I have more questions than Frank Gorshin.

Let’s do the same for basketball- wrap the season up in a week so we can move to that hockey storyline in late December.

Just can’t buy Tobias as the starting running back. Tabitha must have been the greatest female athlete in Milford history.

P-1: QB is a Junior. Is his father – Senior? Advance warning: two years worth of “Eli’s coming” jokes.

P-2: Just asking for: "Who left the Barn(es) open’?

P-3: Really? A thirteen-year-old, born as a female, wins the contested running-back position? How slow are those guys?,

5 games in the season you are still tinkering with the lineup?? Change running backs after scoring 28 and 35 points? Start a running back that you found playing soccer during gym class?? So many questions

I give Madison’s coach credit for whatever changes he made between games. From getting blown out by 21 to losing by 3 is pretty good. He really changed the defense for the better.

Finally we get sports and,as usual, it is royally screwed up as Ol’ Hank demonstrates beyond any doubt he knows nothing about sports and is obviously not willing to learn. Oh, well. Off to Mopped Up Thorp.

Maybe Rodney’s new hit song “184 PASSING YARDS” is still leading the music charts this week.

Maybe I am old fashion as I coached High School Football and played Football all the way through college.

To be an Effective Running Back on the High School Level the individual had to be consistently in the weight room building their muscle mass, all year round, so that they could take the pounding and break tackles etc. I Guess Tobias was adopted after he got off the rocket from Krypton so he/them(whatever) could bypass the required training

Can’t believe that after Jury Duty and 9 holes, nobody has taken the low hanging fruit. OK, it’s a tough job but somebody has to do it.

In a nod to The Boomer, Elias Bermudez “Shorts” looks like he could go all the way!

If Rodney Barnes isn’t making All State as a high hurdler, Milford is doing something wrong. And speaking of wrong, it would be wrong of you not to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
