I really love Whigham’s artwork. It’s simple, you know? Everything we need is there. And his lettering (I suppose he’s the letterer also) is really good also. The usage of Blambot’s Anime Ace as the font is great and fits the strip’s style. I think I’ll start adding that font to my letterings as well.

By the way, not trying to but already doing a promotion — is that allowed here if I’m talking about comics? —, if you guys remember The Spectacular Spider-Man’s animated series, you will definitely love to see the continuation in comic book format. I am part of an amateur team doing these comics as the project’s designer and letterer and you may find the comics by googling “Spec Returns Group”!

5 games in the season you are still tinkering with the lineup?? Change running backs after scoring 28 and 35 points? Start a running back that you found playing soccer during gym class?? So many questions

I give Madison’s coach credit for whatever changes he made between games. From getting blown out by 21 to losing by 3 is pretty good. He really changed the defense for the better.

“No. 89, CONTINUES TO LEAD THE CHARTS…” said no one ever.

Finally we get sports and,as usual, it is royally screwed up as Ol’ Hank demonstrates beyond any doubt he knows nothing about sports and is obviously not willing to learn. Oh, well. Off to Mopped Up Thorp.

Maybe I am old fashion as I coached High School Football and played Football all the way through college.

To be an Effective Running Back on the High School Level the individual had to be consistently in the weight room building their muscle mass, all year round, so that they could take the pounding and break tackles etc. I Guess Tobias was adopted after he got off the rocket from Krypton so he/them(whatever) could bypass the required training
