Missed a perfect opportunity to have a guest appearance by Rex Morgan, M.D. Also, Judge Parker could give advice to “beat” any assault charges. Lastly, why does the tree in P1 have leaves? Thought it was winter.
1) There are leaves on the trees in P1, even tho it’s January, because the author thinks of Milford as being in LA…because he’s in LA, something he cheerfully admitted in the now-infamous AMA.
2) Hey, what about the other girl? If she was hit hard enough to be knocked out with one punch, shouldn’t she be in the hospital, too? And wouldn’t Keri be facing assault charges?
3) At first I thought “they” referred to both Keri and the girl she went all Mike Tyson on, but, no, “they” refers only to Keri, the former “she/her”.
4) And why did the author bring back the Thorp kids just to do this to them? Keri’s got PTSD and bulimia, had an abortion, and is generally miserable. And Jami is useless because you can’t shoehorn a ten-year-old into the type of adult storylines that the strip favours these days.
5) I doubt Mimi will “drop everything and rush to the hospital”. Mimi only exists now to be a Totally Awesome Lesbian™ and to berate Gil once in a while.
6) As Paul McCartney said when he heard John Lennon had been shot, “It’s a drag, innit…?”
Fear not Snarkers. Jami will hit puberty, drop a pair and be an outstanding QB for Dad at Milford. Luke will be around to bring giddy Gil back to earth after Jami becomes a Sophomore starter and lights up the early season opponents. Pedro becomes the QB Coach after blowing out a knee at Wake Forest.
You’re welcome Hank. Now send me my Love and Rockets tee shirt.
P 4: “… and oh yeah … the police are here and want to talk to them… apparently the other girls parents are pressing charges and have hired a lawyer to look in to a civil suit as well so you might want to stay here for now coach…”
I like this massive hospital complex. Is that the same building that was on ER? I’m not sure where the Milford Bulimia Center is though. It might be near the Milford Opera House. And speaking of near, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is near:

Are there a few strips missing? Yesterday she went all MMA on Brittany Spears. How did we end up at the hospital?
Does Rachel not know how to draw someone who fainted?

I am sure Mimi will drop everything and rush to the hospital.
Between her abortion and bulimia treatment, Gil must be paying a lot in his deductible and co-pays.

Them? Who is “them?” I see one person being treated.

Gil, clueless as usual, never noticed Keri’s hair falling out or her recent “heroin chic” style.
