The coach is doing an exceptionally poor job of reminding everyone they’re on the same team. The old Gil would have reamed them all out by now and things would be ragged, but improving, at this point. I’m wondering if we’re going for a Zen moment of enlightenment now rather than effort at gradual improvement.

Barnes can’t play; he’s missing his right hand. Plus, his knees are 90-degree angles. P2 – oddly, it looks like a woman has stolen the ball…

Gil: I know how you feel about Bobby Loft drawing that Technical…and you have every reason to be angry.

Player 1: Angry? We’re all hopping mad!

Gil: Well…I have a favor to ask! I want you guys to let it pass!

Player 1: WHAT! YOU"RE KIDDING! WHY!

Gil: For the first time I saw him cheerin’ you guys on…He was part of the team! Hw blasted an official because he thought he made a bad call!

P-1: Tobe’s multi-sport habit dooms the Hoopsters when he tries to both dribble and run cross country.

P-2: Henry’s obsession with Twin Peaks and the Owls distracts the referee, and the defender causes a "fumble by punching the ball out of the RB’s hands.

P-3: Playing off Lemon’s earlier observation, the coaches have Benched Rodney after he’s gone cold.

Hey, remember when they suspended Marty Moon for being drunk all the time? Well, I don’t care how sober the person they replaced him with is, they need to stop saying “tonight” at the end of every sentence. And they should be talking more about owls! Poor Leo Atazhoon has been on the receiving end of a vicious owl attack! We don’t have time for Rodney’s ongoing drama, the birds are finally rising up against us!
