I feel sorry for a student who attends a school who’s mascot is a skunk.

Back in the day Milford had one high school. Period. Now apparently it extends for miles with multiple high schools dotting the map. Why does it need to be another Milford school and not simply “bad boy of the valley conference” from the days it was just another high school in another town?

Has Goshen always been the “Skunks”? I honestly don’t ever remember that, in all the decades I’ve read this strip. OTOH, I confess I did not take notes during those years.

Anyone ever hear of a REAL school with that mascot?
