Is this the club library or the library library?

lucky ducks … there was no manga in the libraries (either the school or public library) when I was a kid; I had to rely on tattered secondhand (and completely untranslated!) copies of Shonen Jump and Animage magazines that my cousin mailed to me from Japan .. and I was a ‘lucky duck’ to even have those, back then!

My local library only has one shelf for manga that barely gets anything new I usually have to do a transfer for that

    Anime / manga – totally uninteresting. Maybe if I were a teenager…

At least they’re reading. Sort of. I do wish more of an effort would be made to get kids reading the classics. Something that doesn’t have a lot of pictures and encourages imagination.

Its a comic book – any kid with an IQ above a turnip should breeze thru on in no time.

Dang but I wish GoComics had a way to mute comments from specific people. There’s a lot of really tedious dorks who think they’re Josh Fruhlinger or someone from MST3K and they really aren’t.
