This must be a very annoying situation when your lawyer tells you this and you realize that, although you know you’re actually innocent, appearances are very much against you.
Of course, if you know you’re actually guilty, I suppose it might not seem as bad.
You notice that there is no “Innocent” . Only “guilty” or “not guilty”. “Not guilty” does not mean they think you didn’t do it, it simple means there was not enough evidence to prove you did. People who were honestly innocent will never be declared as such.

Three months, but if the jury finds you’re just normal guilty, then it’s one year.

Judges don’t offer deals. They can only approve deals that the prosecution offer.

Up to the DA or prosecutor, to offer a plea deal. Not the Judge. It’s up to the Judge if he wants to allow a deal, not offer one.
