Yeah, she’ll call as soon as she gets back from the pawn shop.

She’s no dumb bunny. The carat count had better ring true. She doesn’t want to be stuck with a Dope Diamond that smells like Cracker Jack.

Don’t want him to think he can impress her with a fake. She’s going to marry him for his money and wants to be sure it’s worthwhile.

Son? That’s what you call a ‘red flag’.

She wants to get the diamond appraised.

Ummm….I don’t think so….

I would suggest he exits ASAP and doesn’t look back.

She has to compare it to the other two offers she is expecting

She didn’t say “No.”

Don’t ask a question you aren’t prepared to hear the answer to, one way or the other.

I guess shes shopping around for an better offer.

I am thinking after she visits the Appraiser

I wouldn’t trust her big guy

The appraiser will say he has seen the ring before, and knows her fiancé

It’s gonna be a long distance call.

I believe there are certain trust issues with this relationship.

“As soon as I get it appraised”.

I am not going to fall for that old trick again…..

Reminds me of when my wife and I were looking for our first apartment. We saw one place we liked, but the landlady wanted a deposit — in order to be considered as tenants. In other words, she was taking deposits from who knows how many interested parties, and would eventually decide who she would rent to. Needless to say, we got out of there fast.

Let me sleep on it, Baby, Baby, let me sleep on it….I’ll give you an answer in the morning…..
