I don’t recommend bright socks. They provide an easy target for ankle-biters.

Thing is, these are the only three socks left — so, when pair them up you’ve got some deep issues.

… like Wisdom and Apathy (“I know how to fix this, but, hey — whatever”)… or Apathy and Equilibrium (“I’ve fallen and I don’t care about getting up”)… or….

The complete set would have included the holy one as well.

But you want to stay away from anyone who’s wearing the Wind Sock.

In an attempt to balance the Universe, Edna also knit the renowned fingerless mittens of Ignorance, Zeal, and Chaos.

(Edna was stunned to later learn most people preferred donning all three simultaneously — let alone where on one’s self the third mitten was worn.)
