    There is always that one ancestor who leaves too many questions. My DNA says I am 2.5% Iberian and my dad’s side says we hail from Madrid – then one of my sarcastic uncles would laugh and say we are all children of a Dominican friar. It is funny that the story goes back generations and the Philippines was under the rule of Spain for nearly 500 years. My mom’s side were rebels wanted by the French authorities according to my mom’s cousin but that is another story.
