Maybe it’s just the dirty house. But it could be also that Brad doesn’t want to live with Toni as a couple with TJ still in the house. You’d think that Brad & Toni – two firemen – make enough money to rent this small house on their own. Maybe Brad has some silly plan to entice TJ out by December. That won’t work (TJ doesn’t like to be outsmarted).

Right on! I’ve been one to always want to marry my women before moving in together, but last couple or 3 times necessity forced us to move in before marriage. Yes, there’s a natural inertia postponing the wedding once the move-in has taken place. Several of my long-time friends have done this as well, even boasting about it. I’m sadder but wiser, also in Sacramento.

I, too, have several friends who have very long term relationships. They are people of love and integrity who demonstrate what natural marriage is supposed to be. In fact, I refer to these partners as "your husband " or “your wife”.

I think the main reason for civil marriage is to restrain those who are without sufficient love and integrity from taking advantage of one or the other.

OOooooohhh no! Don’t do it this way Greg! Keep the moral precedent! Tell people that it is possible and good for people to not live together before marriage. Please! My wife and I did it, it can be done! It’s not financial suicide, yet statistics do show that the divorce rate is higher among those who live together.

When the mentality is that it’s a “trial run,” that mentality can follow into the marriage.

(anyone who wants to argue me on this, I will never remember to check back here and read up,)

When will women ever learn? Don’t move in with the guy until you have that ring on your finger. Brad will use Toni as an unpaid whore. That’s how guys are. And women like that then wonder when he will marry her. Why should he, he’s getting what he wants without getting married. And besides, no man wants to marry a woman that will go to bed with him before getting married. He’ll wonder if she will go to bed with him, how many other guys will she go to bed with. That is an unpaid whore. If she’s going to be a whore, she might as well get paid for it. .A “real” man doesn’t want a loose woman to be the mother of his children. I guess wedding rings don’t mean what they used to. I hope Toni does not move in with the guys. If she does, she will be the subject of whispers in the men’s locker room at the firehouse (when Brad’s not there of course).^^^Ummmm what century are YOU living in?

Okay, just saw another GG post i missed. We have some differences, but at least they are not separated by centuries. There persists being a view by some – especially men – that marraige is always better for the woman. Huh? Just as there are men served by finding they do not want to marry someone they are living with, so, too, are there women who later think, “Whew, i really dodged a bullet by realizing i did not want to marry that man.”If the couple is truly well suited then living together will not do any harm and simply cements the choice to make their relationship stronger as it did for us.

Which were flagged, by the way.Yet you probably think you’re a “good Christian” by doing all of that, eh? Superior to those you’re admonishing, right? Sorry, buddy, you’re missing the point of the original teachings by a good mile.

TJ moves to Toni’s place, and toni to Brad’s…case solved , except for part of TJ’s rent money helps Brad save money?, so I don’t know what difference would be Brad’s rent and utilities money plus Toni’s plus TJ’s, so if we put Brad as B, Toni as T and TJ as J, what is best along with intangibles……………. current J+B separate from T………….. J+B+T …………. or J separate from B+T and also if “Shannon basically moves in with B+T” will her dad help financially for his daughter (kind of like child support )

people choose what they choose, and all points of view should respect what others elected to do, is their lives, not one’s……………. that being said…………………… IMO (my personal view) people should concentrate in finding happiness between themselves, and not depend on how others feel and treat you, and after that they can find someone they can share their own happiness with, and hope it is the same with that other person, if 2 people are willing to live together AS A ROMANTIC COUPLE, they should be willing to be husband and wife, sex should not be the most important thing, should be a way and an instrument to express physically the love and commitment 2 people feel for each other…………….. that being said, I see more highly 2 people unmarried and with an open relationship where they do not hide who they went with than a couple who gets married and one of them meets other people behind the back of the other; and more highly someone in a monogamous homosexual relationship than someone who is straight and highly promiscuous (not saying that these are my choices, just saying who I would see more highly)

“For example, we all say a “near miss”, yet we all know it was a “near hit”. …….not important enough to make it a peeve.”.Nah, a “near miss” is a type of miss, one which came close without hitting. A “near hit” would be a hit near the target..That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. But consider: Planes fly past each other all the time, missing. It is only when they come close (i.e. “near”) that the miss is noteworthy.

@TasmanianDevil“I miss John Ritter. He was a great comediate talent. He left us much too soon.”.I remember John saying that early on, people would say, “That’s John Ritter, Tex Ritter’s son,” but later on he kept hearing, “That’s Tex Ritter, John Ritter’s father,” and that he regretted his father’s decline in recognition..I I saw his son, Tyler acting in The McCarthys and was reminded of his father in Three’s Company and recognized him. Didn’t realize until a few minutes ago) Jason Ritter on Joan of Arcadia was his other son.(ain’t the Internet wunnerful?). I watched Kate Holmes and told my wife, “Hey, she’s got GoldieHawn’s smile!”“She should, it’s her daughter.”

.Later, watching Colin Hanks, I saw various Tom Hanks characteristics. This time I knew enough to check..It’s good some talent goes through generations.

I take it you are referring to the Democrat Party ".No child, I was referring to the previous post.Historically speeking, it would be the Republican Party since the Democratic Party s not big on gun rights, or the right of citizens to posess guns (seeing as how a gun itself cannot have a right)..“yet it is the most secretive and corrupt regime ever filled with never ending scandals from top to bottom.”.If they were actually the most secretive, you would not know it. Rather than enter back into that argument, I’ll just observe: Brad and Toni didn’t rush into being engaged. As their relationship evolved, each showed a lot of respect and consideration for each other. Brad’s concerns for Shannon, and his willingness to include Shannon in his time with Toni, are not the traits of someone who is in it mainly for the sex and would dump a girl or string her if they chose to live together before marriage. Toni put off talk of marriage until she was sure she wanted Brad and Brad only; she’s hardly a gold digger. Nor is she looking for a sugar daddy – given the fact that Brad was laid off when the Fire Department but she was not, it’s possible that she has more seniority and hence earns more than Brad. What we’ve seen of this couple indicates a steady and mutually respectful relationship – not relationship based on using the other for selfish ends.
