She’ll confess something unrelated. When rich girls steal, it’s small but luxurious items, shoplifted to see if they can do it, fantasizing about being bad girl secret agents. People in desperate need of quick cash steal television sets.

Okay… Tiffany is cornered, and starts confessing. She did something, aha! Something is going to get cleared up here, now! She’s got a burden to relieve. Time to come clean, girl! You might as well start confessing! But, confessing to what , though?

B) the key card

C) being in the dorm when she wasn’t on the list

D) having +2k FB likes

E) getting that pink top as a gift

F) turning down a “Taylor Swift Squad Goal” invitation

G) still knowing how to do the Macarena

H) shopping at the Bulk n’ Buy

I) confusing it with the Buy n’ Bulk store, across the road

J) having to lug the groceries to her dorm, without the help of the football team

K) confusing ‘skiing’ with ‘skating’

L) admitting that she meant Austria, the theme park, the one in the town of Austria, Canada

M) wanting to be in her dorm room, so she could get a head start in the line at the commissary, when classes resume (you’d do it, too, if you had their cheesecake)

N) forgetting the lyrics to “Tequila” (♬)

Or

O) remembering the lyrics to “YYZ” (♬)

She’s filing her nails in panel #1.

Fortunately, the investigation is in the hands of campus security rather than Bernice. Thus, the security guard’s next comment is likely to be something like “Just to be clear, what are you admitting to?” By contrast, if Bernice were still in the room, she might have run out hollering, “Tiffany stole the TV!”

Any second now, she’s going to pull that TV out of her purse and give it up.

Frankly, I’m amazed that the security guard and the supervisor of RAs started questioning Tiffany, just based on Bernice’s suggestion. It doesn’t demonstrate a lot of smarts on the part of either one of them…

@Argythree: I would have thought Bernice would at least try to defend her taking that she known her for what since kindergarden or elementary I’m guessing?

Likely what she’s admitting to is giving her key card to Piro so he had a place to stay over break.

AN APOLOGY TO ALL LUANN FANS

-Yesterday, I posted an advisory to all members of my group to boycott the broadcast of the Presidential Inauguration which was carried live on Radio, TV and the Internet. And even though it was successful, one member of group my made the mistake posting it on a non-political themed comic. That posting was intended only for political-themed comic strips like Doonesbury, Bloom County, Zack Hill Over The Hedge, and Pearls Before Swine, and the single-panel political comic strips, not the family-themed comic strips like Pooch Cafe, Red and Rover, JumpStart, Nancy, Stone Soup (new and classic) and of course, Luann. Over the years that I have read Luann, it was NEVER a political themed comic strip! And for that, I would like to offer my apology to the fans of Luann and the strip’s creator, Greg Evans. Now for those of you who think yesterday that this storyline about the stolen TV is dragging along…it is not!

Maybe she’s admitting to loaning her keycard to Piro so he would have a place to crash while she was gone… or that she really didn’t go skiing and that she stayed in the dorms b/c her parents was away and did not want here to be with them.

I think she’s going to admit that she was alone, in the dorm, for two weeks, because she has so few REAL friends. Or somesuch

Caught in one lie. How many lies will be in her web of deceit ?

Surely, Tiff is clueless of what actually is going on.

Besides, it been a while since THIS Strip had a Good ‘Cat-Fight’…….,

There’s STILL the ad posted right outside the Common Room and someone (whoever that is) is wanting to sell a 60" HDTV – something our intrepid “CSI” team has yet to discover (see Jan. 13 strip).

It may also be that the Tiffany key card issue (whether it was Piro, Tiffany, or whoever used it) may be completely UNRELATED to the missing TV, and this would amount to what’s called a “cold lead”.

No doubt Tiffany initially relished the thought of being a “person of interest”.

Her confession will be that she did not go skiing in Europe, but someplace much more mundane, like Vail or Mammoth. Poor Tiffany, having to stay in the US over winter break.

Tiffany is as innocent as the Baby Jesus of the possible crime involving the TV here, no doubt. I think it is more likely she did go to Austria, but she let Piro use her keycard so he would have a place to sleep, and he slept in the student lounge and probably looked at TV. However I don’t think he stole the TV either. It probably was used by someone when he either lost the card, or maybe someone was able to get to it, without his knowledge and the they made off with the TV. I wonder if there are cameras, and if not I am surprised actually. One of the past arcs showed that TIffany allowed Piro to crash in her room, and if I am not mistaken Bernice found about it, in her capacity as RA, and chose not to report it. By the way not being lucky enough to go away for college I did not know how serious the RA position is, but those of you here who have have made that real clear to me. Bernice knows the rules and insists on them, except when her personal feelings get in the way.

She’ll have to admit she had nothing to do and nowhere to go. BUT since they clearly live in the same town as this grade D- “college”, why didn’t she just go home?

Tiffani didn’t steal the TV, she’ll admit she was not actually in Austria skiing.

wait a minute! she’s not admitting to anything Paul Blart may be interested on hearing, and we all know that here. It’s only that"Paris Hilton" lifestyle is not so exciting anymore. nothing knew to us here too.

Even if Paris (Tiffany) said she was really guilty, nobody would believe her. too obvious and too oblivious at the same time.

Consensus seems to absolve Tiffany of any crime. My wish is to see Bernice, at the very least, get a written reprimand and a release from her RA position – a blemish on Bern’s collegiate record.

Just because Bern was the high achieving valedictorian in high school doesn’t mean she’s a person of great intellect or intuition. College has a way of taking students down a notch or two. Moreover, Bern IMHO never had much in the way of social intelligence which is on display here, not to mention that she over interprets and overreacts in most situations. Remember these are just teenagers, not yet mentally matured still learning how to behave.

Easy there, guys. We don’t know what Tiffany thinks she is admitting. Let us not be hasty; after all, 2439 Facebook Friends can’t all be lying (if, that is, they exist)….

Bern is obsessed with Piro , confused by the possibility that he may have been involved, still sees Tiff as a threat, is upset that Tiff might have interacted with him over the holiday break. So she is acting compulsive and irrational. Having Dez (who is everything Bern is not) for a roommate is probably the best thing that could have happened to Bern.
