Years ago, we had a Lhasachon pup named Izaak. We installed lminate in our kitchen and we were tossing a ball for him to chase. Sure enough, he hit the laminate and couldn’t stop. Just like Puddles, he went into the cabinet. He sat there for a few seconds, shook it off, and brought us back the ball for more. That happened ONCE; he learned real quick what to do.
Well the GOOD News is, Pudd can now take part in that NFL Concussion Lawsuit.
Pudd just tell ‘em you were a mascot for one of the teams currently sitting out the Playoffs and you suffered repeated “Helmet to Skull” contact from victorious opposing players doing End Zone celebrations.
We live in an apartment with slick linoleum flooring. Our cat does that “skippety skippety” thing every time she takes off from a standing start. She’s still a kitten, so she does that a lot for no particular reason.
Poor Puddles—doomed to remain a toon instead of becoming a real dog, the way Luann and her family and friends became real humans over the years. Is that fair? I ask you.

No, mean would be painting a picture of a tunnel on the wall so he runs into it at full speed.

Dogs really don’t like a bath. “I stink, therefore I am.”

Puddles heard bath time and ran straight into the wall.

And that’s one way to get the doggo into the tub without fuss.

In the last panel, Puddles looks like he has been drinking.

Puddles keeps forgetting that, after each bath, he’ll feel so clean and refreshed, he’ll run outside and roll around in the dirt!

We interrupt the daily strip’s drama about Brad, TJ, and, Toni’s illegal remodeling project, to bring you this bit of dramedy featuring Puddles.

Dogs are cute, what can I say? I guess you have to be tricky to get old vets like Puddles to take a bath.

When my dog was going to the bath or anywhere else he didn’t want to go he’d do something that made him feel heavier

The definition of tragedy. The faster you run to escape your fate, the sooner you collide with it.
