I’ve long wanted to have a sharp looking deck of cards printed with black and white images from the Bushmiller strips. I’d use them to play “Five Card Nancy” as invented by Scott McCloud… the rules of which are easy to find on the internet. It’s a weird game with a huge dose of random and subjective judgements by each given group of players and has been described as a dadaist game. With the right group of players, it could easily be tumultuous and hilarious and fun and mind expanding. And cheaper and safer than magic mushrooms… and legal. Now I realize if I tried to produce these and sell them… I’d be setting myself up for accusations of copyright violations… but I can’t see anyone getting upset with an individual making a set for personal use.

Nancy winking is the best part. Like she thinks she’s pulling one over on Sluggo, but he already knows how this game is going to go.
Also, best game ever.

So, I tried to cut out the pieces and ended up electrocuting myself. Thanks a lot, Olivia.

For some reason, I think this game is fixed ;-)

Or you could buy a copy of “We Didn’t Playtest This At All” which can be similar. Or very different.

I won’t do it! Too laborious, besides you shouldn’t labor on Labor Day

Just one friend or relative at a time as it seems to be a two-player game.

Nancy says only idiots wink at boys. Sluggo happily agrees. Nancy shows her appreciation by winking. Or something.

The system is rigged.
