Wiley, you’ve got it wrong – “Alternative Facts” are those piles bull’s drop. What dogs drop is simply a pile of Trump.

Wonder if an upcoming Simpsons episode will have Bart (or Conway!) writing on the blackboard 1000 times, “Alternative facts are lies.”

Anyone who has ever been in a relationship should be able to understand exactly what “alternative facts” are, and how commonly they appear.

Spicer said, “… largest audience to ever witness an inauguration – period – both in person and around the globe.” He did not say, “Present at the inaugration in person” he said, “both in person and around the globe.” So there might be a smidgen of truth in what Spicer said.

That being so, please do not draw any conclusions about my attitude toward POTUS.

Like Hillary embraced her alternative facts and Brian Williams embraced his alternative facts right up until the were pointed out as “false facts”?

They’re not real men and women… ☺

Yet ironically that ground is made for those deposits, our corpses are made to enrich the soil. But we being able to ignore Nature hold back.

The Republicans are not really lying about the basic ideals on which they base their political philosophy. In order to be genuinely lying, you have to not believe it yourself. In the alternate universe created by Faux news, Rush Limbaugh, etc, the lies have been repeated so often, and by so many people that they are actually believing themselves now. This is “truthiness” — Colbert’s word, meaning that what is self evident when you use your mind is less important than what you know in your gut. You believe your gut, not your mind, because you don’t like what you know with your mind. The problem with using your gut for thinking instead of your brain is that the products of the two organs become virtually identical.

Real fact: I fear my government more than I fear terrorists.
