I had a theory, so i wrote it down; i didn’t work, but it was sound; ’cuz it got published, an i earned my pound!

I know that probability is a lot to ask from Captain Eddie, but two sequential one-in-a-million flukes make a one-in-a-trillion fluke. ((10^-6)^2 = 10^-12)

Guy says, “I’ve been playing the same number on the lottery for twenty years and never won a dime.”

“Try a different number.”

“I can’t, it’s my lucky number!”

“Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?”

His next ship can be called The Inevitable.

Eddy needs to change his Luck; Lose the yellow cat and hire Bucky from “Get Fuzzy”!

L ike a Liberal trying to run an economy, perfect in theory, never quite works.

Capt’n Eddie is using the Edison approach. “I have not failed, I just discovered 10,000 ways that didn’t work.”

Actually, he was quite successful the second time. Me and my buddies ate the fish out of his hold about as quick as he could reel them in!

I’m beginning to think it’s an allegory about trickle down economics.

I had no idea Eddie was an advocate of “supply side” economics.

That’s what happens when your theory doesn’t fully take all the variables into account. Since we don’t even know all of them he’ll never get it to work!
