I must have a really good spam filter on my email. I rarely see any. But then again, I have a very small “footprint” on the internet.
My phone gets more spam than my computer accounts. However, I have a special ring tone I assign to my contacts, everyone else gets the default tone. So I ignore the default tone when I get a call. It usually rings twice and then hangs up. None of them ever leaves a voicemail.
Fortunately, my phone is for personal use and not business so I can afford to do this.
However, there is an application called NoMoRobo that works with your carrier to block robocalls. It is free for land lines and a couple of dollars a month for mobile numbers. The company tells you how to work with your carrier to do this.
Remember that Danae’s only going after the free-market hackers, who only annoy you because they want your money. The real pros are the government-sponsored ones who work for the KGB, and they want our democracy.
In the best of worlds this response to hacking would seem a little extreme, but, after you have had to replace your credit card and all your passwords a couple of times, it looks like Danae is showing admirable restraint.
Everyone should read Ziggy today and complaint about the obvious profanity in the second line. I can clearly see F half a U C K . I’m emailing my newspaper editor today to complain.

Glad I can still enjoy what the print media has hypocritically censored – "Censorship is to art as lynching is to justice.”

Danae: “So you’ll stop being evil?” Hackers: “For a couple of weeks.” Sounds like an exchange between Trump and Kim Jong-un.
