I still prefer old fashioned books over E Books, guess I’m a loser too

I found out that once I stopped judging other people, I stopped caring about how they judge me.

I give the power to influence how I feel about myself to few people that I choose. Most of the world’s opinion about me is irrelevant. The world may constrict what I can do, but I am free. Freedom is not defined by any physical measure. Bars and chains do not make one a true captive. Freedom is a state of mind.

The gospel according to The Eagles in Hotel California states, “We are all just prisoners here of our own device.”

I also take advice from Kipling in his poem, “If:” “If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you …”

Ethernuts…

On the contrary, they’re both winners. They’re trying to learn things, using the communication media that they’re most familiar with.

I imagine this as a “Twilight Zone” episode. Morning light coming through the window, undrunk drinks perpetually on the bar, no one else in sight, reading sentences without verbs – forever.

Two loser walk into a bar, and…..

Anyone who thinks someone else is a loser because their personal taste is different needs a reality adjustment.

Neither one is a loser because of what they are reading. Nothing wrong with either one. Maybe they are losers because they are drinking alcohol?

It’s all a matter of perception. The advantage of print newspapers is they have to guess at what you are reading and, aside from what page they put articles on, it’s harder for them to change their mind and bury an article once it’s in print.More importantly no annoying pop up ads, click bait or requiring you to subscribe to finish an article.
