Honestly, I feel like the vast array of instant knowledge & entertainment the net provides is probably four or five times more addictive than TV ever was for me.

I prefer emails for many things, because they are a record of what we’ve said, and they allow me to stop and rephrase. But if you’ve got a lot of questions, lets TALK about it: Much more efficient. (And then send an email “memo of understanding”)

Curing someone off facebook is quite easy. Just have the person walk along a busy street. Cure is at he first corner. No loss to humanity

While this might cause some to question their career choice,

… for others this might affirm that they made the right choice – that what they are doing is important and needed.

Oct 16 Blondie nailed the situation perfectly. Very boring to be in a place where that is the situation, but it is currently the buzz Curious to see what replaces it.

Unfortunately, today’s Blondie nailed me perfectly.

It’s ironic that we see people who are totally concentrating on their mobiles as alone or disconnected, and yet they are connecting with thousands, maybe even millions on line.

Primates are attracted to bright, shiny objects. If it can also show everything from dirty pictures to space launches, you’ll have to pry it from their starved corpses.

Used to be that I had a rule in my house about turning off the television before sitting down to eat dinner with the family. Now, it’s insisting that all electronic devices are turned off during the meal!

In some ways, the Internet has been a great help for some of us. Living alone and high risk, much of my human interaction is online, and I have YouTube Reddit stories playing when I’m eating just to have a human voice. I don’t do Facebook or Twitter, though. I’m not that desperate yet.
