The A.I. apocalypse has been underway for quite some time. It was released by humans

The AI apocalypse starts with addicting humans to technology. It’s the most addictive drug there is. From there mind control is the next logical step.

Well, whatever.

I knew it!

Big Brother Zuck is watching you. He’s coming close to watching everyone. And perhaps the most insidious thing is that Zuck & Co. didn’t force himself on people, he seduced them with “convenience” and they’ll actually pay to be spied on.

Siri and Alexa need to watch out for Maase.

I asked Siri what she thought of Alexa. Siri replied. “I have no resistance to assistance.” Maybe there’s something to the A.I. apocalypses.

Um … I thought that those requirements before you entered ‘agree’ (or not) were written by people, not some artificial intelligence. But, maybe I’m wrong.

Hey now, hey now….

Just say you agree. Every time I click one of those buttons, I say out loud, “Sod off, I don’t agree to your terms at all,” and then just use the software. And there’s nothing they can do about it, and I walk away feeling all smug and self-satisfied.

I’m starting to like Bob.

I like the Super Bowl commercial where the “smart” assistant can read your mind, and order “things” from Amazon.

It is already started. I cannot get along with my smart phone.

I hardly use it for anything. I’ve taken a half dozen pictures with it to see how that works (not well), make two calls a week on it, receive about a dozen spam calls a week on it and get about a dozen SMS with codes per day so I can log into various accounts. It seems I need a code every 10th keystroke or so.

Crowded House?

You know, now that I think about it, when the powers that be designated essential workers IT was a part of that group. We’ve come a long way from pizza and t-shirts for 24/7 computer support.

Some people (including, but not limited to some anti-vaccine types) worry about an implanted chip controlling them. They ignore the fact that they already have such a chip with them all the time and are greatly distressed if they are separated from it. (Now where did I lay that darned phone?)

There IS method to the madness of anarchy.

I still don’t believe that AI is writing the “terms”. Those are all written by humans, or at most distant, by programs that were written by humans to construct the “terms”.

Echo has been mumbling to herself lately. I’m getting worried.

I wonder if my smartphone, PC, laptop and smart TV are plotting against me. I guess when I turn them off I’m just giving them rest between plots.

Speaking of computer glitches,yesterday COMICS KINGDOM had no comments.Today as of 10:30AM they don’t have any strips!!

My guess is Mallard Fillmore parked a tractor trailer truck across the access switch and is making impossible demands.

I just accept all those things. I don’t have any choice if I want to use their software…

It should be pointed out that Uncle Bob is a reasonably ETHICAL lawyer;which makes him weird enough to be in this strip.
